Abstract : 

Twenty first century skills have become essential for all professionals. Computer Engineer, as one of the most important group of technology personnel are needed to be prepared to obtain skills crucial for the requirements of the 21st century context. This descriptive study was conducted to investigate 21st century skills of computer engineering students. The sample was composed of 26 internship computer entrepreneurs. A questionnaire developed by the researchers based on Trilling and Fadel’s framework including 3Rs-Reading, (w)Riting, (a)Rithmetic) and 7Cs-1) Critical Thinking and Problem Solving; 2) Creativity and Innovation; 3) Cross-cultural Understanding; 4) Collaboration, Teamwork and Leadership; 5) Communications, Information, and Media Literacy; 6) Computing and Information Communication Technology (ICT) Literacy; and 7) Career and Learning Skills. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, percentage. The main results revealed that high scores of 21st century expectation skills fell into the categories of Computing and ICT Literacy (X ̅= 4.16, SD. = 1.02), Collaboration, Teamwork and Leadership (X ̅= 4.12, SD. = 1.01), Critical Thinking and Problem Solving (X ̅= 4.08, SD. = 0.93).
